How To Avoid Protein Shake Bloat and Constipation!

Don’t Let Your Protein Shake STOP You! (UP)

If you workout you probably supplement with a protein shake, and these days that means you also get stopped up from doing so!

It seems that about 90% of the population is now sensitive to any type of protein supplement.

I personally am more sensitive to why protein than any other, but even a protein isolate will cause me to get bloated and stopped up if Im not careful.

I used to take various pills to UNSTOP myself but I felt this was a harsh remedy. I like to avoid ANYTHING harsh especially if I’m going to do it on a regular basis.

One thing I noticed about ANY natural supplement I took was a very specific ingredient.

Psyllium Husk

Or more specifically Psyllium Husk Powder! I did some research and found that Psyllium Husk Powder was a very natural source of fiber that could be taken on a daily basis.

So I decided to add 1 heaping tablesppon to my protein shake to see if adding this additional fiber to my shake would help me to NOT get stopped up.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked!

Now there is a trick to this…

Psyllium Husk Powder expands to 10 times its ingested size, so I don’t like to take it early in the day because it will actually make me feel bloated. I only add 1 Tbsp. of Psyllium Husk Powder to my shake in the evening.

By the time I wake up my body is ready to eliminate my protein AND anything else it can GRAB on the way down, and trust me this is a cleanser!

Like I said its important that you don’t do this for your morning or mid day shake, just the evening one.

IF you are super sensitive to protein intake and require some help for those early day protein shakes, try eating something with your shake.

Eat a sandwich or a salad while you slowly consume your protein shake.

Don’t just guzzle it down, that not a good idea!

I use the NOW Brand of Psyllium Husk Powder I find it to be the best available!
